Lonza Launches Large Scale Peptide Production

Lonza, Basel, Switzerland, has set up cGMP manufacturing capacity for large-scale solid phase manufacture of peptides at its Visp, Switzerland, facility. The move will complement Lonza’s Biotec capabilities for cGMP manufacture of small molecule peptides by microbial fermentation. Lonza now offers peptides synthesis in solid phase (solid phase peptide synthesizers, 2-800 liters), in liquid phase and by microbial fermentation.
